My formal photographic training was in photojournalism, and I learned from some of the best. I love hanging out with a bag of cameras, working and waiting for that perfect shot.

Will there be photojournalists ten years from now? Does it matter? What makes a photojournalist unique? Sure, training helps, as it substantially increases the chances you'll get that lucky shot. But with amateurs cranking off some great spot news photos and camera phones getting better and better, how long will it be until editors no longer send out shooters to cover breaking news stories, but rather just refresh Flickr over and over again?
